Symbol Yacht Company, Ltd was started in 1982 and still owned by Jimmy and Jean Cheng. 2007 was Symbol Yacht Companies 25th anniversary, to celebrate they are offering crew quarter on the 68 Symbol Pilothouse, call for details. This family owned business are now building yachts from 42' to 88', yachts 50' and above are designed by Jack W. Sarin N.A. Symbol Yacht Company has a dedicated, friendly and obliging staff that clients are confident to work with on the construction of a new Symbol yacht.

Symbol Yacht Company is an ISO 9001 builder, having a quality control system in place and monitored. Hull bottoms are solid fiberglass, with closed cell foam above the water line and decks-proven and time tested system.

Symbol's standard hardware is high quality, operates smoothly and ample size. 1 3/8" Doors are made to accommodate this hardware, doors are available with recessed or raised panels and our standard flush panel.

Cockpit station controls and wireless thruster controls are available to make docking much easier. Also available are electronic hand held controls with outlets forward or on the fly bridge. Standard controls are hydraulic with electronic controls available, your choice.

The flybridge on the 45 and larger Symbol Pilothouse models include as standard a hinged arch, molded diamond contrasting non-skid, non-skid is also coated with Awlgrip with Grip-Tex for added safety, on deck storage and standard seating on most models.  Available for the boat deck on the 45'&47' Symbol is a water collection system piped to a tank below and used for toilet flushing-saving water. This option can be included on most models-call for details.

Symbol Yacht Sales installs U.S. made cranes by Brower. Function options with hydraulic power and parts are available in the U.S.

1 1/4" mirror polished custom 316 stainless steel stanchions are standard, when possible stanchions are thru bolted not screwed. Inspection plates installed on bolted stanchions for future service.

Standard entrance door hinges on all Symbol Yachts are mirror polished stainless steel. Door frames are also mirror polished stainless steel reducing maintenance and to enhance the the yachts value.

Standard anchor holders on all Symbol Yachts are custom high grade mirror polished stainless steel.  Our standard anchor is also mirror polished stainless steel with your choice of anchor type and weight.

Standard exterior doors have several stainless doggs to make them weather tight. Options are available for other door types.

Generators include an exhaust water separator standard. Water exits below water line and exhaust exits above water line for quieter generator operation. This feature is standard on all Symbol Yachts.

Underwater exhaust is standard on all Symbol Yachts to provide quieter engine operation, free from trailing exhaust fumes and cleaner transom.

Large mirror polished stainless deck hardware is standard on all Symbol Yachts. Most deck hardware is thru bolted with backing plates, no screw heads eliminate leaks.

Interiors are custom hand built with your choice of grain matching woods, standard wood is teak. Interior woods are taken from the same tree for the grain and color tone of the woods to match. Satin finished varnished is  standard and high gloss varnish is available. Interior wood handrails improve safety and are custom hand made to enhance the interior elegance. Quality locking hardware is used for cabinet doors and drawers. This hardware is available in gold or satin nickel finish-your choice.

Standard engine room doors on Symbol Yachts 54' and above are water tight and include a port. Door frames are stainless steel and include locking dogs for added safety.

Standard on all Symbol Yachts are seamless fiberglass shower stalls for easy cleaning. Shower doors are standard with a white or aluminum finish. Quality fixtures with adjustable telephone type shower heads. All showers have an opening port with drape, exhaust fan, seat and a.c./heat vent in head.

A light honey tone teak wood is the standard interior wood on all Symbol Yachts.  To insure color and grain match the teak is taken from the same tree. Other woods are also available as well as satin or gloss finish. On most models the salon is open to the pilothouse to provide a more open appearance. Ceiling panels are removable for access to under side for maintenance or to run wiring for new equipment.

All Symbol Yachts have frame less windows standard. No aluminum frames to corrode, no window frames to maintain, no leaking screw holes and frame less windows improve the yachts appearance. Window glass is tempered safety glass and is available with a light or dark tint-forward glass clear.  

Stainless steel struts ("I" or "V" shaped) and rudders are standard on all Symbol Yachts. Symbol Yacht Sales will use a 4 bladed bronze prop  as standard with "Nibral" as an option.

For ease of handling, Bow and Stern thrusters are standard with Symbol Yacht Sales cruising package. We also include a wire less remote control as standard with our Side Power thrusters.

For navigators planning on cruising the Great Loop, Symbol's radar arch is hinged and can be lowered to provide a clearance below 16'. Our radar arch also used to mount antennas, lights and speakers.

STANDARD on all Symbol Yachts is a port and starboard drain manifold system. Sinks, showers, bilge, and deck drains empty into this drain system that exits under the swim platform. This drain system eliminates most thru hull fittings to improved safety and eliminate hull water streaks.

Our cruise package includes dual Racor filters with vacuum gauge. Symbol Yachts feature fiberglass fuel tanks standard-no rust. Our standard fuel supply and return manifold is clearly labeled and easy to use.

The new 50 Symbol hull in test tank at Vizon SciTec Inc. in Vancouver, BC. Jack Sarin N.A. designed the 50 hull and was part of the hull testing.

All Symbol's systems are tested in factory pool before shipment.  Symbol's quality control system is also completed before shipment.

Fireboy auto shutdown system is only one of the standard safety features that is included on all new Symbol Yachts.

The non-skid on Symbol Yachts is a diamond pattern coated with Awlgrip and Griptex for added safety.

LED courtesy lights are used in Symbol Yacht Sales cruise package as standard. LED lights use less amps and are long lasting.
