| OVERVIEW |
| As you approach, the NEW elegant Jack W. Sarin N.A. designed 59 Symbol Classic Pilothouse you will understand why Jack’s reputation is worldwide. The distinctive exterior styling of the new 59 Symbol Classic features traditional lines, wrap around Portuguese bridge, wide covered side decks, wide body FLYBRIDGE and wide salon windows, all designed with practicality in mind. What you cannot see is an easily driven modified “V” hull designed for economical cruising, deep keel to protect props and provide directional stability. Underwater exhaust system should insure that the boat is relatively quiet and free from trailing exhaust fumes.
As you enter the cockpit you will notice the size of the cockpit and saloon areas have been balanced to provide the maximum space to both. A few steps up from the salon is the Pilothouse with a commanding view, large "C" shaped dinette, well designed galley, comfortable helm seat and doors Port & STBD for safe access to decks.
A convenient stairway, open to the saloon, from the pilothouse takes you up to the FLYBRIDGE featuring a settee and dinette, two helm seats, custom solid teak grate table, boat deck, sun lounge with storage under and outdoor galley with Panini grill, combo ref/ice maker, sink and storage. The cockpit also has an entrance to the FLYBRIDGE and boat deck.
From the Pilothouse, a curved stairway takes you below to the staterooms, heads with large shower stalls and separate washer/dryer. Through out this yacht you will notice the excellent joinery, matched grain interior and the meticulous finish that Symbol is known for. |
| LARGE SALOON |
| The windows in the saloon are positioned to give maximum light and perfect sight lines, for both sitting and standing and have been carefully laid out to eliminate straining of the neck or ducking of the head to see out. Saloon includes a large "L" shaped lounge to STBD, two comfortable barrel chairs, large 60' x 40" varnished custom teak hi-lo table with a beautiful Burl Wood top finished in gloss, cabinet storage forward, aft and to port. Forward cabinet includes 42" LCD TV with pop-up lift, cabinet storage for glassware, stereo equipment storage, drawers and 24 bottle wine cooler to port aft. Soft Dura Touch leather was used for the salon settee, pilothouse dinette and pilothouse helm chair. Spacious saloon and comfortable seating make this saloon the perfect entertainment area. | RAISED PILOTHOUSE |
|
|
| The Pilothouse has great visibility and is the center of activity when cruising or at rest. Port and STBD doors lead to side decks for safe access, protected by a Portuguese bridge with storage, high bulwarks capped with 1-1/4" S/S hand rails and forward seating. We have tried to keep an open feeling in the pilothouse area by utilizing an open stairway to the fly bridge and space above counter top open to the salon. Not all of our competitors have a pilothouse stairway to access the flybridge, only a stairway from cockpit-this is inconvenient when changing stations. The pilothouse features a “U” shaped galley, raised “C” shaped settee, storage below and comfortable helmseat. Pilothouse and FLYBRIDGE include electronics by FURUNO, ICOM and SIMRAD-TOP QUALITY WITH GREAT SERVICE.
Standard with our 59 Classic are Glendinning controls with a complete back up processor for the lower station. Also from Glendinning is a wired hand held remote control that can be plugged either forward or aft giving the captain complete control of thrusters and throttles.
Pilothouse sound levels were from 63 to 76 dB-A, sound levels did not go into the seventies until 12 kts and over. Flybridge sound levels would be much lower.
