Description

The Symbol 51 Classic Pilothouse, a classic yacht with a modern approach.

Due to popular demand, we are proud to announce the all-new Symbol 51 Classic.  Not too big and not too small, the Symbol 51 Classic offers no-nonsense boating, including all the features that avid cruisers have come to expect from Symbol.

The forward wrap around Portuguese bridge offers the perfect vantage point to enjoy the scenery with an added measure of safety.  Covered side walkways offer shelter from the elements while a deep keel offers protection to underwater gear.  Ample storage is provided on the fore deck and in the bridge lockers.

Two layout options are available, a two stateroom plus office, or three stateroom.  The three-stateroom layout includes two generous suites and a third, bunk style guest room.  The pilothouse features doors from both side decks and the flybridge width is full beam for extra seating.

An up-galley leaves a spacious main deck salon for evening entertaining or relaxing.  And the dinette, located next to the pilothouse lower helm offers perfect panoramic views while dining or observing the journey.

The refinements aren’t just superficial; numerous functional design features are also incorporated giving a truly beautiful blend of hydrodynamics, engineering, and design.  Maneuverability and handling has always been a critical design factor, because a yacht can’t just handle well at speed in open waters, it must also handle well in close quarters.  To name a few standard features, propeller tunnels reduce draft, allowing you the extra measure of safety and handling in shallow waters, while the hollow half-angle of entry at the yacht’s waterline maximizes forward bottom sections allowing impact loading to be minimized.
