ORDER NOW WITH YOUR CHOICE OF EQUIPMENT The NEW 48’ SYMBOL Classic Pilothouse Fast Trawler was developed for navigators wanting the advantages of a pilothouse with the ability to travel at higher speeds. The additional speed allows more distance to be covered during daylight hours and avoid bad weather. A fast cruiser can go slow with a similar fuel burn of a slow trawler, but a slow trawler cannot go fast. Forward and aft powerful thrusters with wireless remote control make your docking easy. The semi-displacement hull will accommodate single or twin diesels, providing you with performance (20 kts) and range. This 48 Symbol Classic, with a timeless traditional profile with the protection of a Portuguese bridge and is built without exterior teak to reduce your maintenance. The custom wood interior provides the luxury of satin finished teak wood with excellent joinery that SYMBOL is known for. Covered cockpit, forward deck and fly bridge are designed to afford more outdoor seating for entertaining or just relaxing. Easy cockpit entrance to the engine room keeps the interior cleaner. The semi wide-body design projects a salon of a much larger yacht. With a sliding door the cockpit becomes an extension of the salon, large windows provide maximum light. The gourmet galley opens to the salon with a spacious "U" shaped design counter top, spacious storage cabinets and full size appliances. Amidships is the owner's stateroom with an island queen size berth, en-suite head with separate shower. Forward stateroom has two single berths, optional double berth or optional twin staterooms with four berths, hanging locker, drawers and storage lockers. Passageway outside of staterooms feature guest head and separate shower. Staterooms and heads have more than ample storage. Because the raised pilothouse is the center of activity while under way, we have incorporated several design features; P & S doors, easy access interior stairs to fly bridge, raised "L" shaped settee/berth with storage below, table, comfortable helm seat, drawer/cabinet storage, large counter top navigation area P & S, large low profile electronics console, overhead console and large windows.
